Insurance

Those travelling from the UK to overseas on University business or study related activities are generally insured under the University travel insurance policy. The policy is available at: Travel Insurance | Insurance and should be referred to in advance of travel. Students normally residing in the UK and travelling overseas on University Business, such as a field trip, are also covered.

The University does not reimburse the cost of international travel insurance purchased elsewhere. The University’s travel insurance policy does not cover UK travel. Travellers requiring insurance for UK trips should make local arrangements.
